Project Description

A whole-family support platform for neurodivergent children, delivering virtual diagnostics, clinician-led intervention plans, and therapeutic LEGO play kits — no waitlists, delivered to the family's doorstep.

Pariva Health overview

Problem

Families navigating autism, ADHD, and developmental challenges face long diagnostic waitlists, fragmented care that treats the child in isolation, and intervention models that ignore the emotional load on parents and siblings — support that is hard to access and rarely built around a whole household.

  • Long, discouraging waitlists block families from timely diagnosis and intervention.
  • Care models focus only on the child, ignoring the well-being of parents and siblings.
  • Therapeutic plans feel clinical and impersonal, disconnected from a family's day-to-day life.

Solution

UX research with clinicians and parent communities, a warm public site that explains a complex care model in plain language, brand identity around 'family as the root of growth', and product design for the end-to-end intervention journey.

  • A no-waitlist onboarding flow that connects families to a dedicated clinician the moment they enroll.
  • Web experience for the public program site plus the internal Family Need Profiling and IFSP planning tools.
  • End-to-end design for the six-stage Family Support Program, tied to a doorstep-delivered Therapeutic LEGO play kit.

Design Process

We began with how a parent arrives, usually after months on a waitlist, tired and braced for another form that leads nowhere. A family in that state does not need enthusiasm from an interface, they need to know what happens next and believe it will happen. Talking to clinicians and parent communities, one theme kept returning: care built only around the child leaves parents and siblings carrying the rest alone. So we designed for the household, laying out the six stage program plainly enough that a parent can see the whole path before taking the first step. The public site explains a complex care model in ordinary language, without clinical distance and without forced cheer. The clinical tools were built for speed, because every minute a clinician spends fighting an interface is a minute not spent with a family. The visual language grew from family as the root of growth, warm rather than medical, carried through to the kit that arrives at the door.
